SPA 1 | Youth & Young Adult Action Board

The SPA 1 Youth and Young Adult Action Board is a youth-led collective based in the Antelope Valley, working to advance leadership, advocacy, and systems change for Transitional Age Youth. Centered in lived experience, the team ensures that youth voices are meaningfully represented in community conversations and decision-making spaces.

The team has strengthened its advocacy capacity through public speaking and leadership development, including preparing presentations for community meetings and advisory boards. Their work focuses on reducing stigma around youth homelessness, creating safe and inclusive spaces, and elevating real youth experiences across the Antelope Valley.

Through community surveys, partnerships with local organizations, and youth-centered events, SPA 1 generates both data and storytelling to inform long-term solutions. Their ongoing focus on mentorship and financial literacy reflects a commitment to sustainable, youth-driven leadership.
