La’Toya Cooper is the External Affairs Coordinator at LA Emissary, where she supports relationship-building, communications, and external partnerships that advance youth-led systems change. Rooted in her Los Angeles community, her work centers empowerment, equity, and accountability within youth-serving systems.

A proud mother of two and a current college student, La’Toya approaches her work with optimism and determination, committed to helping build systems that truly serve the people most impacted by them.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, journaling, and spending quality time with her children.
